The top three British and Irish advertising platforms by revenue in 2020 are Saas and Amazon, according to a report by UK-based research company Ipsos MORI.

The company found Saas’ ad revenue in the United Kingdom and Ireland rose by 5% and 3% respectively to £6.9 billion ($9.2 billion), compared with a decline of 2% and 1% in the U.K. and Ireland.

Saas said it will be investing £5 billion in the next four years.

Amazon said it plans to spend up to £10 billion in 2020, including an additional £5.3 billion in advertising, as it tries to position itself as a leader in the digital economy.

“The Saas platform has been on the march for years, now we see that growth accelerating and that the company is also on the front lines of the emerging digital advertising landscape,” Ipsos Mori analyst Ian Roberts said in a statement.

“While we do not believe that Saas will be able to grow as fast as its rivals in 2020-21, its continued success in this space can provide a real boost to UK-wide advertising revenues.”

Saas says it’s the “biggest advertiser” in the world in the country, with more than 30 million UK customers, according, to the firm’s 2016-17 report.

The firm said it spent about £2.4 billion in total in 2016-18, including £1.4 million on online advertising, and it plans further spending in the coming year.
